THE AMERICAN GERIATRICS SOCIETY is a nationwide, not-for-profit association of geriatrics health care professionals dedicated to improving the health, independence, and quality of life of all older people. The AGS has a diverse membership of almost 7000 primary care physicians, geriatricians, geropsychiatrists, nurse practitioners, social workers, physician assistants, physical therapists, pharmacists, and others engaged in geriatrics clinical care, research, education, and administration.
